Hi,
I have been diagnosed with Anorexia since I was 12 years old and I have tried numerous therapies including CBT and family therapy. However I am now 20 and since being discharged from CAMHS when I was 16 I have received no further therapies and have been trying to deal with my weight and condition by myself. However, I am now starting to struggle with weight again and I feel that my life is controlled by my eating disorder as I have a very rigid routine and daily schedule when it comes to food. I really do want to tackle my eating disorder and lead a normal life and after doing some research into hypnotherapy I was hopeful that this could help me to do so. Do you think this form of therapy would be helpful for my condition as I noticed you have it listed as an area you can help with, and I wondered how successful it has been with my particular condition?
