  My partner has been suffering from depression for some time. She has just been discharged from hospital after about 4 weeks and is currently struggling. I think her main problem is not being able to sleep. This has been going on for about 3 months and at the moment she is not sleeping at all. Whilst in hospital she was only getting a couple of hours sleep with sleeping tablets. Her mum and brother both suffer from similar issues. Are you able to offer any help with overcoming the inability to sleep? It’s almost as if she is now scared of sleeping because she has not slept naturally for so long.
