About Marji Coulson
I am a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist and a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I have many years experience of working with people from a variety of backgrounds and ages. I work with many different issues, and I can offer short-term solution focused counselling and longer-term psychotherapy. I also see couples who are experiencing difficulties in their relationship.
My training allows me to work in different ways depending on the issue a person is experiencing.
Many people are struggling with emotional issues, and can’t find a way forward in their lives. We are all born with so much potential, which often gets lost or buried as we go through childhood. Our work together can focus on finding the confidence and energy to re-discover your abilities and to have a more fulfilling life.
A key part of my work is the nature and quality of the relationship I establish with each person I see.
I aim to provide a confidential and non-judgemental space to explore problems, to find new ways of dealing with troubling thoughts and feelings and to discover the resources you need in order to manage difficult situations in your life. Sometimes our lives just don’t work out as we had hoped and we feel stuck and unable to make changes.
