About James Carver

With over ten years of successful counselling practice and experience, my aim is to increase your sense of personal choice and to help you achieve a richer sense of connection with yourself and others.

My extended 5 years of training in integrative counselling allows me to use a wide range of theory, skills and tools tailored to your personal needs. The main approaches I use are person-centred, CBT and psychodynamic.

Throughout my professional career I have successfully given support to many clients with a wide range of difficulties, such as anger management, depression, anxiety work related stress and relationship issues.

During our work together I will listen carefully in a non-judgmental manner and within a safe environment, in order to trace the links between your past experiences and your current situation. This process will help you to understand your present dilemma and will show you various tools to increase your personal growth and development.

Over the years I have felt privileged that my clients have shared their difficulties with me and allowed me to help them to achieve their goals. Please see the testimonies on my web site.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
