Traditional Chinese Medicine is one of the oldest and well respected forms of health care and preventative medicine in the world. It’s strength lies in the individualised approach to disease and dis-harmony in the body and it’s rich history of clinical experience in treating many disorders.

As a professionally registered Acupuncturist and Medical Herbalist, I am passionate about helping you understand this wonderful system of healthcare and using my skills to overcome your health problems. I always strive to work with existing health care providers, when appropriate, to achieve the best outcomes for my clients.

I incorporate Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Cupping, Moxibustion, Dietary & Lifestyle Advice, and Qi Gong exercises in my treatments, depending on your individual requirements. These can be used separately or in combination depending on the condition.

My training, work experience and any achievement: I am a Registered Acupuncturist and Medical Herbalist having qualified with a double degree level (BHSc) in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from the Southern School of Natural Therapies in Melbourne, Australia, which has the highest standards for Chinese Medicine qualifications and practice in the West. Following practice in Australia as a member of the Chinese Medicine Registration Board (CMRB) of Victoria, I recently relocated to the UK and am currently a council member of the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RCHM). This body regulates Chinese Medicine Practitioners and ensures the highest standards of care and professionalism within the industry.

As part of my extensive training, I have studied many areas of western medicine including clinical anatomy & physiology, clinical diagnosis, pharmacology, counselling & psychology. I have also served clinical internships with Tran Nga and Steven Clavey, a world renowned specialist in the field of fertility and gynaecology.

Other concerns & issues I deal with: As each treatment is based on the individual pattern of disharmony, the list of conditions that can be helped is enormous.

My particular areas of interest are digestive disorders, gynecological issues, arthritic conditions and skin conditions. Stress and pain related disorders can be very effectively treated via acupuncture alone, but most complaints benefit from a combined approach with acupuncture and herbal medicine giving the best outcomes.
