About Richmond Counselling and Psychotherapy
Welcome to my page. I am a psychotherapist and counsellor with nine years of experience and am UKCP registered. I provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space, within which issues can be explored and worked through together.
Through the therapeutic relationship, aspects of current and past events in your life can be linked and understood. This can lead to a better understanding of how you relate and respond to other people and situations. This new found awareness could enable you to make meaningful changes going forward.
Sessions take place once a week and last for 50 minutes. I offer both open ended and time limited therapy. Time limited therapy of 12 session or less may be appropriate where there is an immediate crisis or clearly defined problem. I use CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) skills where appropriate. Please contact me via email on maryobyrnes@gmail.com or telephone on 07977405544 for an initial consultation to discuss your individual needs.
