I have many years experience working within private practice, in GP surgeries in primary care and, for the last five years, for Lewisham and Greenwich NHS specialist cancer services.My approach is based on the understanding that therapy will be different for everyone and as an existential/integrative psychotherapist, I will always respond to the unique person that I meet.
I do feel that successful therapy does not just depend upon the skill and expertise of your therapist but also, crucially, how you feel when you’re with them.
If you feel yourself to be safe, understood and able to trust then despite seemingly overwhelming obstacles it can become possible to achieve what you are hoping for from therapy.
