About Upton Therapy Centre
I am a fully accredited and insured “Chrysalis Therapist” and member of The National Hypnotherapy Society, The National Counselling Society and The National Council for Hypnotherapy. I am also a Registered General Nurse with more than 20 years experience. My qualifications include; Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills, Intergrated professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Dip PC), Certificate in Past-life Regression, Certificate in Neuro Effective Desensitisation Technique and Level II Reiki Practitioner. The Hypnotherapy and Counselling Societies criteria ensures that all members have met a minimum set of standards to ensure a safe, ethical and knowledgeable service.I work with adults and adolescents, some clients refer themselves, others are referred by doctors, employers or by personal reccomendation. I keep abreast of new developments and research about therapy by engaging in continual professional development of my own practice in a variety of ways:
- By attending courses and workshops throughout the year.
- By reading journals and topical books.
- By undergoing regular supervision and networking with other therapists.

I trained with Chrysalis at Bournemouth University. My qualifications include; Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills, Intergrated professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Dip PC), Certificate in Past-life Regression, Certificate in Neuro Effective Desensitisation Technique and Level II Reiki Practitioner.I am also a RGN with over 20 years acute nursing experience at a senior level, whereby I have held positions in both Poole and Bournemouth Hospital as a Clinical Site Manager.
