About Helen Jean Martin
Hypnotherapy helps with many psychological problems like anxiety and phobias. It is used to break habits and addictions like unhealthy eating,smoking, alcohol and gambling as well as nail biting and nervous ticks. It can help with stress related disorders such as insomnia and panic attacks, as well as OCD. It is also helpful to release a person from old negative patterns of behaviour/thinking from childhood and early adulthood which have a destructive effect on relationships and career progression.I have introduced Hypnosis for Birth to my services which perfectly combines my midwifery background and hypnotherapy. I can offer home visits and apts to your convenience.
Reiki helps with all aspects of health with a calming yet powerful influence. It helps with all types of mental health issues like depression and anxiety. It boosts the immune system and increases energy levels. It helps with balancing hormones including benefits to fertility. It helps with chronic pain such as headaches, backaches and arthritis as well as pain caused by conditions such as cancer. Reiki is also very useful for mums to be and babies as it is comforting and relaxing. Reiki is also wonderful during pregnancy and can relieve colic in babies.
My training, work experience and any achievement
I have a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and I have reached Second Degree Reiki. I have a professional background working for the NHS for 23yrs. I am a qualified nurse, midwife and health visitor which has given me a great deal of experience working with people during difficult times.I have had many successes which I am proud of. My hypnotherapy treatment helped a middle aged man of his gambling addiction which went a long way to saving his marriage. I have had success treating Obssessive Compulsive Disorder and driving test phobia. I have treated many people with weight problems and smoking. My Reiki healing has helped people with chronic depression and anxiety a well as freeing a lady from pain who had arthritis of the spine.
I find my job deeply rewarding. I offer honest and genuine committment to all of my clients, making sure I do my very best for them.
I always charge per session rather than per hour, so there is no clock watching.
Further Information
I am a Reiki Master so I can attune (train) you in Reiki, it usually takes just one day.I also offer spiritual services; Tarot readings and beginners classes twice a year. Contact me for details.
