About Joanne Reinelt

I am a Cognitive Hypnotherapist and counsellor specialising in stress and anxiety. Whether you are hoping to add to your abilities or lose something that’s holding you back, I can provide caring, personalised and confidential support.

Cognitive Hypnotherapy is a safe and modern therapy that combines hypnotherapy with NeuroLinguistic Programming (NLP) and elements of counselling, life coaching, and positive psychology. This integrated approach assures you of a non-judgmental therapy that works by helping us break patterns and old habits to think more constructively and can bring profound change to the way we behave and feel.

Our lives can be complicated and confusing and being listened to can be the most powerful medicine. Clients may come with one issue and find what they most want is to be heard. Different techniques may work for one person or problem and not for another. So, however we work together, the focus is on you, the individual, and whatever help, understanding or guidance you need.

My training, work experience and any achievement

My training began in 2002 with the WPF, London’s long established centre for counselling. I went on to train with Trevor Silvester at the Quest Institute at Regent’s College in London gaining the Diploma in Cognitive Hypnotherapy and qualifying as a Practioner in NeuroLinguistic Programming (NLP).

I am fully insured and licenced to practice by the National Council for Hypnotherapy and support their strict code of ethics which concern your safety, confidentiality and aims for the highest level of care.

Further Information

Therapy is a very personal process and it’s important for us both that you find the right therapist. So, if at the end of our first consultation you don’t feel confident to continue, then there is no charge for the session.
