About Deja-View Hypnotherapy & Regression Therapy
Barbara Burgess Dip.Hyp. Dip.RTh. Dip.RSA NLP(Mstr Prac) CHMI CLC MIOEEI came from a background of outwardly normal suburban lifestyle but which enveloped a magical side of palmistry & Tarot, hands on healing and herbal remedies. This I see now as my lesson in having a foot in both camps, my path for helping people open up to their spiritual self.
I studied 3D Design in Kent & London (where my final year thesis was on the psychology of colour), I worked in an eclectic collection of jobs, picking up tools as I went along, and studying a bit of Herbal Medicine and later Dowsing. I spent a number of years in management & training, gaining my Dip RSA in Management and taking courses in training, motivation & team building, performance appraisal and conflict management amongst others. Working few some years in the charity sector, before I decided to follow my long held ambition and train in Hypnotherapy.
A number of synchronicities (a book in itself!) directed me to the Past Life Regression Academy where I was trained by Andy Tomlinson, a founder member of the European Academy of Regression Therapy and the European Association of Regression Therapy and an international trainer and author on Past Life & Spiritual Regression - himself trained by Dr Michael Newton.
This proved to be a major turning point in my life which reawakened psychic gifts that had been dormant since childhood such as seeing auras and being able to see and draw the past faces of my clients during regression, not to mention my very vociferous spirit guide Youseff.
I received a Diploma in Hypnosis and a Diploma in Regression Therapy.
I have since become a Certified Life Coach and Usui & Tibetan Reiki Master and as part of my commitment to continual personal & professional development I am continuing to study Ericksonian Psychotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
I feel honoured that I am able to assist people in changing their lives for the better, practically, emotionally and spiritually, whether it is with therapy, coaching, mentoring or workshops, or just in conversation.
I feel we should all have the chance to live our lives aligned with our abilities, beliefs and passions. The first step to this is to understand what those are, to clear away any poor programming and open up to opportunities as they arrive.
I work in partnership with my clients, helping to guide them towards their chosen goals and aspirations.I am committed to helping people achieve the lives they want; removing their self-limiting beliefs and discovering their Passion. It is at that point that we come to understand how all our experiences and learnings come together to provide coherence – There is value in every moment.
