I practice a Relational form of Transactional Analysis (TA) Psychotherapeutic Counselling. Which is integrative in so much that it draws upon humanist, psychoanalytic and cognitive behavioural approaches, which permits me to tailor therapy to your individual requirements.
Counselling as a positive and practical step you can take to initiate change in your life, it affords a safe confidential space where you can be seen and heard in ways you perhaps have never experienced before. A belief that we are all capable of change is central to my practice and through the analysis of unhelpful relational patterns that have developed through your lifetime; we would work together to discover new and alternative possibilities, which could sustain an alternative and hopefully more fulfilling future.
I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor professionally trained at the Metanoia Institute in London and a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (MBACP) with rooms on the Marlborough Downs, at The Counselling & Psychotherapy Centre in Bath Road Swindon and the Hypnotherapy & Health Centre in Cirencester.
An initial meeting of up to 50 minutes in Marlborough or Swindon is completely free and without any further obligation providing you don’t cancel your initial meeting within the cancelation period of 3 working days.
My training, work experience and any achievement
I am a Member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (MBACP)A qualified and professionally trained Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with a Diploma in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapeutic Counselling from the Metanoia Institute in London and a Bachelors Degree with Honours in Engineering and Management from Edinburgh Napier University.
A member of the International Association of Relational Transactional Analysis & the European Association for Transactional Analysis.
And I am also studying for a Master of Science in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy as part of my continuing professional development and registered with the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) and the Metanoia Institute / University of Middlesex as a Psychotherapist in training for last 5 years.
I have practiced for the last four years in different organisations i.e. Metanoia Institute Counselling and Psychotherapy Service in London and continue to work as a Counsellor in a leading low cost Counselling Agency based in Gloucestershire in addition to my private practice in Wiltshire & Swindon.
As well as being a Health Care Professional, Therapist and Coach I have over 20 years experience in senior positions with a number of global blue chip companies.
