About Charlotte Curran
Dr Charlotte Curran is an experienced HPC registered Chartered Clinical Psychologist offering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) assessment and treatment. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) aims to support individuals in understanding the development and maintenance of their difficulties through increasing their awareness of the links between their thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Strategies are then taught to enable an individual to manage their difficulties more effectively and to feel more in control of them. CBT is an evidence-based, effective treatment for many different psychological problems (see the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence for details).
Charlotte has expertise in helping people with a variety of psychological problems and emotional difficulties. Some examples include:
Anxiety problems such as panic, social anxiety, health anxiety and phobias
