My training, work experience and any achievement

I am a vastly experienced, friendly, fully qualified Counsellor and Clinical Analytical Hypnotherapist.

I am registered with the professional organisation, the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy), I am also CRB checked, enabling me to work with children and young people.

I have successfully helped many people over many years, with issues such as; self-harm, anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship problems, anger, behavioural, suicidal thoughts, drugs, alcohol and smoking.

I take a professional and confidential approach with all my clients and treat them with the utmost respect and dignity at all times. I thoroughly respect their vulnerability and strive to offer a safe, warm and secure environment.

My background has seen me in many varied roles, and given me invaluable experience enabling me to relate to many Physical and Psychological conditions. I have worked as a Residential Social Worker in a children’s home, I have worked in Nursing in a General Hospital, cared for Disabled Children and have also been an Elderly Care Worker. I am also at present a School Counsellor and Behavourial Manager.

I have an excellent knowledge of many health related issues, having worked on the front line in the NHS, I have offered both practical and emotional support.

I operate from my own premises, which enables me to practice out of hours should the need arise.
