About Leah Clements Therapy

Are you feeling lost in life and struggling to find direction or focus? Perhaps you’re feeling anxious or depressed about a particular situation either past or present and it’s holding you back? Are relationships feeling particularly difficult at the moment and you’re struggling to understand them? Or is an addiction consuming your life but you don’t know how to change it?

If these issues resonate with you, then please keep reading to find out how I can help you.

I’m a fully qualified integrative counsellor and registered member of the BACP with four years’ counselling experience in a variety of settings.

I also am an Anxiety UK approved therapist working with people with a range of anxiety and depression issues and disorders.

How can I help?

I offer a safe, confidential space for you to talk, think and explore your thoughts, feelings and concerns. I will be interested to hear about your experiences, your relationships and how you view yourself and the world around you. It can be helpful to explore any recurring patterns in your life and how past experiences may be holding you back. In exploring different aspects of yourself and your life, I’ll help you to gain insight and consider new perspectives to help you find a way forward.

What to expect?

We will meet for an initial 50 minute session, so you can meet me, talk about your problem, what you’d like to gain from coming to therapy and decide whether you feel comfortable talking to me. Towards the end of the session, we can decide if we want to work together or you can have some time to think about it and let me know. If we decide to continue to work together, our sessions will take place on the same day, at the same time each week.

Where do I work?

I provide face to face sessions in London Bridge (SE1) and in Holborn (WC1A).
I also provide online, video call sessions.

I offer both short term and longer term work.

Availability

I have appointments available from 7am – 8.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday morning online.

I am an Anxiety UK approved therapist and work both face to face and online with clients with a range of anxiety issues.

I have also worked as a counsellor with a domestic abuse charity working with women.

I also work in private practice, working with a range of people and issues.

Prior to training as a counsellor, I worked in the charity sector, as a support worker, working with people in the areas of domestic violence/abuse, addictions and homelessness.

Further Information

What is counselling?

Counselling is about relationships, the relationship you have with yourself, others and the world around you. It shines a light on the past and how this may be having an impact upon you, in the present.

Counselling offers you a private, confidential space to talk, think and explore your thoughts, feelings and concerns, with the aim of bringing clarity and understanding.

Our sessions will last 50 minutes and will be at the same time each week, for an agreed length of time.

Why do people have counselling?

People have counselling for many reasons. Perhaps you’re struggling with anxiety and it’s holding you back in life or maybe you’re feeling down or depressed and can’t seem to find your way out. You may be struggling with personal relationships with family, friends or work colleagues and you just don’t understand why they’re so difficult. Maybe you’ve been through a difficult experience and are struggling to cope with your feelings. All of these and more are the reasons people have counselling.

If you’d like to discuss whether counselling is for you, then please get in touch.
