About Andy Chrysostomou

Since 2001 I have served as a professional Reiki teacher and practitioner for Reiki students from around the globe. A recognised authority on Reiki, Reiki teaching and the art of healing, I have been involved in developing the standards for Reiki healing and teaching that are being nationally implemented. My Reiki healing and teaching has directly impacted the lives of many hundreds of individuals spanning nations, helping those suffering from emotional issues, physical injuries, acute health problems, spiritual searching and those who simply want to learn how to help themselves and others in the best possible way. Through my published Reiki book (The Essence Of Reiki), public engagements and other events and experiences I have helped those looking for a better way of living life transform the lives.

What began as the solution to my own personal problem of severe spondylosis of the spine has grown into my lifelong journey to help others overcome their health problems and other personal issues. Affected by my spinal condition, in pain and with restricted mobility, Reiki swiftly transported me to a better state of health, where I could train seven days a week and live a perfectly normal, unhindered existence. It’s my passion to help others do the same.

I offer professional London-based Reiki courses and healing treatments, for those seeking relief from health or emotional issues, or those simply wanting to learn this amazing healing art. Workshops typically last from one to two days and Reiki is both simple to learn and effective in its application.

My work has been featured in national and international publications including: Health & Fitness Magazine, Soul & Spirit, Healthy, Natural Health, TNT Magazine, Red Magazine, Spirit & Destiny and numerous others. I have taught nurses, clinicians and celebrities but my greatest commitment is to the general public.

My aim is to create an enduring Reiki legacy that will impact the world in the most positive manner possible and it’s fantastic that every Reiki student or client is part of that process.

Reiki is an energy-based healing and self-development system that originated in Japan. A trained Reiki practitioner channels naturally occurring external electromagnetic energy into a client in order to initiate a healing response, either on a physical, emotional or spiritual level. Reiki can be used on chronic illnesses and injuries, minor ailments, emotional traumas, stress, depression, anxiety and other physical and emotional problems. A Reiki treatment is very relaxing and often clients experience pleasant sensations such as heat, tingling and seeing colours, an indication that the energy is travelling through the body.

A Reiki course is very simple to learn and enables anyone to become a Reiki practitioner and channel energy for healing purposes. It is an enlightening process of self-discovery and also a very practical healing system that can be easily applied by anyone with no former training.

Reiki training takes place at the 4* Radisson Kenilworth Hotel in Bloomsbury. We accept up to 12 students per course and offer free post-course support.

Courses are certified and include comprehensive manuals. All courses cover the requirements of the National Occupational Standards for Reiki and prepare students for the Reiki Council Certificate of Professional Practice written and practical exams. Reiki courses start from £175. We often run discount offers, particularly for those already experienced in therapies.

Reiki treatments take place at The Klinik or Stillpoint holistic centres near Liverpool Street station. A one-hour session at one of these venues is £60.
