Are you considering counselling? - You may be concerned and uneasy about having counselling but if you are reading this then something inside of you is probably telling you that you need some help. The thought of having counselling and sharing your private thoughts with a stranger can feel like a very daunting prospect but we all have times in our lives when we need to talk to someone and using someone who is trained to listen can be the answer.If you have something on your mind, if you feel you have lost your way or life is just too difficult right now, if you feel anxious, depressed, confused or have a particular issue on your mind - whatever it is and you want some help, please ring me and let’s get you the help you need.
My training, work experience and any achievement
I hold an Advanced Certificate in Counselling and am a Reigstered and Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psycotherapy (BACP) which means that my practice is deeemed to meet the standard for a competenet, ethical and independent practitioner. I am also qualifed in Critical Incident Debriefing, Emotional Freedom Techniques, Reiki and as a Crisis Worker for Victims of serious sexual assault.My work has included counselling for the NHS, Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue, Listening Ears Bereavement Counselling, Lincolnshire Counselling as well as my private practice. This has allowed me valuable experience working with all kinds of people, all ages and backgrounds with varying issues and problems.
