Higher Diploma in Counselling
10 years mental health support work specialising in work with older clients-many training courses including Vulnerable adult training,Mental health awareness,Dementia training
Training and working as a Cruse bereavement volunteer
Counselling at Vine counselling Congressbury
Training include a Child’s Grief, Sudden and Traumatic death,working with trauma-somatic experiencing,Gestalt training,Children’s and young person’s bereavement
Support work / counselling with clients with anxiety,agoraphobia and memory problems enabling them to maintain and regain independence and quality in life this will include going out and socialising,shopping,diet and exercise and meal planning,support with safety at home,accessing groups in locality and liaising with other professionals such as doctors and social services,utilising counselling skills whilst working alongside individuals to find their pathway forward.
I have received considerable positive feedback from many clients over the years both with counselling and support work.I also come to you if you are struggling to get out for whatever reason and also can provide telephone counselling which can be very effective for many people
