About Peter Canham
I offer a secure and welcoming space where therapy can take place with confidence and respect. The integration of my life experience, varied training and experience as a counsellor, I believe, enables this to happen. I am a BACP accredited counsellor, working integratively, from a Psychodynamic perspective. I am also a Qualified Supervisor in working with both individuals and groups, working privately and in several agencies. I have a Diploma in Working with Adolescents which benefits my work both with young people themselves and adults with unresolved issues from their own childhood and adolescence. In addition to my private practice I work in several agencies where I have gained much experience of working with victims of sexual, emotional and physical abuse, depression and low self esteem, loss and bereavement. My further training as an Ecopsychologist gives me a wider understanding of stress and depression related to life, fears and experiences in present times. I also offer Counselling from a Cultural and Faith Perspective.My training, work experience and any achievement
