About Patrick McCurry
Hello! I work with individuals and couples, helping them find new ways of dealing with problems and developing deeper understanding and self-awareness. I am an experienced therapist and counsellor and provide a warm, welcoming and confidential space.I work in a soulful way. This means that, while I help clients with practical ways to tackle problems, I also see problems and painful experiences as potentially important influences that shape our character and which may be trying to teach us something about ourselves.
I charge £45 for individuals and £55 for couples, in Eastbourne. In London I charge £55 for individuals and £75 for couples. In some cases I offer a concessionary rate for people who find it hard to pay the full fee.
My training, work experience and any achievement
I have completed a thorough training in counselling and in psychotherapy, with a diploma in Integrative Psychosynthesis Counselling (2006) and a diploma in Integrative Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy (2010). I also have a diploma in Couple Therapy (2012).As well as my own private practice, I have worked as a counsellor for a community counselling charity, for a bereavement counselling service and for a hospice.
