About Nicholas Rose

I am a counsellor and psychotherapist in West London and Central London registered with the UKCP and UKRCP and accredited by the BACP. I also hold memberships with the Society of Existential Analysis and Metanoia Institute. In West London I am based in W4 so ideal for Chiswick, Turnham Green, Ealing and Acton.

I work with adult men and women both individually and with couples. My clients come because they want to talk in a confidential, welcoming and safe environment to an experienced and qualified professional. Whether you are experiencing a crisis or wanting to explore how to live a more fulfilling life, I understand that it can be really very difficult to talk therefore you can expect me to listen carefully with warmth and empathy.

Clients come to me with a variety of concerns including anxiety, stress, panic attacks, bereavement, depression, sexual issues, addiction(s) eating disorders, personality disorders, relationship issues, low self esteem.

My training, work experience and any achievement

My clinical experience comes from working with adult individuals and couples who come to me with a wide range of concerns including stress, relationship difficulties, bereavement, sexuality, low self-esteem, compulsive behaviours, eating disorders, PTSD, childhood trauma, abuse, long term mental and physical health difficulties. Clients have included executives from a range of sectors, people from the arts, medical and legal professionals, civil servants, students and many have found themselves here in the UK having moved from another country for work or relationship reasons.

Prior to training as a therapist my corporate career, spanning some fifteen years, included experience of senior management positions with an emphasis on marketing and strategy within the retail, telecommunications, internet and not-for-profit sectors, both domestically and internationally. I have lived and worked abroad including periods spent in Italy, Switzerland and Ireland.
