About Arland Counselling

I offer counselling/psychotherapy at affordable rates which is effective for working with depression and anxiety, whatever the cause. I also work with couples both for staying together and splitting up. I work in central Altrincham, close to Tesco - or by Skype (see below). You will usually get your first appointment within one week of contacting me. I work in English, French and Spanish.

I use Person Centred counselling when working with individuals and Integrative counselling/psychotherapy (Psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis & Systemic) when working with couples/family members.

Counselling/psychotherapy is available not only during the day but also in the evenings and at weekends.

I welcome people of all races, cultures, ages and sexual orientation.

The Altrincham room is not accessible but I have an arrangement to use a nearby accessible room where required, please let me know when you book.
The Hulme room is accessible.

You can pay using cash or cheque at the end of each session.

You can pay by card before the session by going online and using PayPal.

Skype Counselling
Skype software is freeware that allows people and businesses to use Skype’s voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VOIP) network. Using VOIP people can make voice calls over the Internet on their home or office PCs. Skype is the most successful VOIP network with many millions of users worldwide, boasting free Skype-to-Skype calling anywhere in the world. In 2008 Skype software added a video feature, allowing callers with webcams to view each other live while chatting.

Skype is a great free service which anyone can access for free on the internet. Following a straightforward download, users can make telephone calls to other UK users and to users all around the world free of charge. This means Skype is a useful tool for counselling. The same advice applies to this type of skpye counselling in Altrincham as to other types of counselling - clients should look for a BACP registered counsellor and have regular - ideally weekly - sessions.
