About Hemlata Mistry

A single act of kindness can cause ripples of healing.
How is life for you at the moment?
We all experience those times when we feel lost or disconnected.
Events can get on top of us, and we become anxious, depressed, or sad, and we can’t find our way forward.
This is when Counselling can help.

Counselling
Counselling is a talking therapy that involves a trained therapist listening to you and helping you find ways to deal with emotional issues.
When we are troubled, talking is really important because it is a way of reflecting in a safe and confidential space.

I am a qualified integrative Counsellor, and I am able to offer you a safe, empathic, and non-judgemental space for you to speak about your thoughts and feelings.
The aim of our sessions is to help you become more self-aware, with greater self-esteem and have more control over how you approach and react to life.

Hemi Mistry has counselled me for several months now. She has a friendly, committed and authentic manner, and has enabled me to open up to and start to process thoughts and feelings that have interfered with my life over many years. I wish that I had thought of counselling sooner, and I unhesitatingly recommend Hemi’s caringly delivered services to anyone wanting a safe and completely non-judgemental way of resolving their own anxieties. If you can make that first important move and just get in touch, a great counsellor like Hemi has so much to offer.

Hemi always makes me feel comfortable to talk about anything that I feel is best in our sessions. She has such a kind and understanding demeanour. I couldn’t have been matched to a better therapist with such a high level of care and understanding. I have started to look forward to my sessions as it has become my safe space.

I was first put in touch with Hemi last year through a grief counselling service after suddenly loosing my mum. Hemi has been so helpful in the past year, helping me deal with a lot of very difficult emotions. Having had counselling previously before & not finding it very useful I was quite sceptical this time would work, but our first introductory chat was so easy that week after week I have found it very easy to open up. We have dealt with lots of different aspects of life, and I honestly do not know how I would have coped without our sessions. Hemi is very supportive, caring, easy to talk to, and can set you at ease without pressure or feeling judged. Recommended to anyone in need of support.

Hemi Mistry has been counselling me since October 21 and she has shown me great kindness and understanding over the last few months. Throughout the process, Hemi has also shown huge patience and hasn’t given up on me, as well as bringing her very useful knowledge and experience to the sessions. I am extremely grateful to her.

Hemi has been unbelievably supportive during our sessions I found Hemi really easy to talk to and this has allowed me to work through some really tough experiences with her. She has help me identify where my original bereavement came from- many years ago! With Hemi’s guidance I’m now travelling the journey with her to help me process my thoughts and feelings.

I had my first session with Hemi today and was presently surprised that I felt instantly comfortable with her and was able to talk freely. Hemi has a very calm, non-judgmental approach, so I felt very much that I was in safe hands. She was very professional, and it was clear that she was listening intently and was interested in what I was saying as she asked really appropriate, thought provoking questions, at a pace that felt right for me. Following the session, I had much to reflect on and I feel that the work we did today was really beneficial. I can highly recommend Hemi.
