About Counselling Arena

I’m Priya, a qualified counsellor based in a discreet office at Bolton Arena within easy access off of M61 J6 and next to Horwich Parkway train station.

I know how hard it can be to trawl through all the profiles to find the right counsellor. To help you make this decision, I would like to offer you a free consultation. This will give you the opportunity to find out more about what counselling can offer you, how it works and to meet me so you can get a feel for how we will work together. Here are a couple of testimonials from clients:

’I never could have imagined how talking things through with someone would change not only the way I think but also the way I feel about myself. After the first few sessions, I would find myself taking away new ideas to try and they worked! I have never been so confident in myself and happy. I truly didn’t think it possible. Thank you Thank you Thank you Priya !’ Louise age 36

When this started out, I probably began with less than what you’d call an open mind. I was used to things not working out at this point. But I have to say, that I was pleasantly surprised with the results of counselling. Before I started, I couldn’t sit through an exam without leaving and I had trouble with anxiety, I found school very difficult. Now, I’ve finished my GCSE’s with no trouble at all. The sessions completely changed my outlook on my situation; things that I felt were a problem were no longer an issue by the end, I found a new sense of self confidence that I also feel has helped me a lot. It’s not an overnight fix, nothing is, but with patience and persistence it really pays off. Not only did these sessions change the way I viewed my problems, they gave me strategies and ways of overcoming them, the lessons you learn from it can come in handy quite often in life. I couldn’t be happier with where I ended up at the end, now I feel prepared for more challenges, ready and confident that I can accomplish whatever I set my mind to. Jack age 15

When first attending counselling, many clients admit that they are really anxious and unsure about the whole process. Most are surprised at how much better they feel very quickly and how much they are able to share in the sessions.

I have a comfortable room on the ground floor at Bolton Arena. There is a lovely café for you to relax in before or after your appointment and there is ample free parking.
I hope to meet with you soon.

Take care,
Priya.
