About Rita Hashemipour
BACP accredited counsellor with over 15 yrs experience working in the counselling and helping profession. I offer one to one counselling in a private and confidential setting conveniently located on the Lisburn Road in Belfast.
I am an experienced counsellor with an extensive background in addictions, mental health and trauma; and integrate a range of approaches tailored to meet the individual needs of each client.
Our initial meeting will offer an opportunity to discuss specific life issues, past or present, that are causing difficulty or concern. It is my hope that you will feel better informed about counselling and whether or not it is appropriate for you at this time, and also give some indication as to whether or not my approach meets your needs and expectations.
As an Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I offer a confidential counselling service working within the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy

I am also an experienced supervisor and am registered with the University of Ulster and Queens University to provide supervision to counsellors in training. I also provide personal therapy to counselling students at a discounted rate.

I currently offer appointments mon-fri 9-5, and am also available for evening and weekend appointments.
I am also able to offer telephone counselling; and skype counselling for clients who have difficulty with travel or time constraints.
