About Beverley Chambers
l am a person-centred counsellor with 17 years of experience. I chose Person-Centred counselling because I believe that you are the expert of your own life. It may not seem like that when you feel that you can’t cope or you don’t understand why you behave the way you do, but through being heard in a non-judgmental environment, we work together to unlock the key to your issues. With more awareness and understanding of your issues, you will develop a strong self-worth and learn skills to address the issues that have affected you.I work in the substance misuse field as counsellor, group worker, Auricular (Ear) Acupuncturist and supporting women whose children are on the Act Risk Register. Also, I work with clients who have mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and panic attacks using counselling and acupuncture to help lessen the depression.

Using various skills—known in the counselling field as working "integratively"—means that I employ a range of counselling models according to the problems and the person, taking the most effective parts of a number of approaches, including the following:
