Five element acupuncture treatments are generally not symptomatically based, but have the aim that by treating the person as a whole and the underlying cause of imbalance, all other symptoms will then in-turn become restored to their natural state.

However, my special interest is in fertility and stress related issues, especially as stress/anxiety can be the root cause of why we may be unable to function according to how Nature intended. Moreover, it is for this very reason why five element acupuncture can be particularly so successful helping restore harmony.

My training, work experience and any achievement

Andrew is a fully qualified and widely experienced five element acupuncturist who graduated from the School of Five Element Acupuncture (SOFEA. However, Andrew started his studies in 2002 at LCTA and so possesses a broad background in other acupuncture traditions as well.

In addition, Andrew receives continuous professional development and completed post-graduate excellence training from the London Institute of Five Element Acupuncture (LIFEA - in association with the Kite Clinic), along with training in the treatment of infertility.

Andrew was also one of the practitioners who took part in the King’s Funded CACTUS study (Classical Acupuncture for Treating Unexplained Symptoms) with GP surgeries throughout London, run in conjunction with LIFEA and the University of Exeter cactus-study.co.uk.

Andrew carries out private treatments in and around the London/Kent area, and works voluntarily for a local charity providing support care for disadvantaged members of the community.
