About Maria Rossi
Maria Rossi, Lic. Ac. MBAcC is a fully qualified and licensed Integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and 5-Element Acupuncturist.After leaving Italy she worked for many years in UK in a corporate environment. Passionate about natural methods to improve health she decided to put aside her corporate career to study acupuncture at the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (Reading, UK) where she graduated after 3 years and 1/2 training. She then completed extensive post graduate training in fertility, gynaecology and obstetrics with Jani White, Claudia Citkovitz and Debra Betts to help women of all ages dealing with their gynaecological, fertility and obstetrics problems in a more natural and safe way.
By combining traditional acupuncture techniques like acupuncture, moxa and cupping and by taking a holistic approach to your symptoms, she aims to address the root of the problem. If you have a fertility issue and you are trying to conceive naturally, contact me. Around 40% of the couples I see at the clinic are looking to conceive naturally. Some patients are trying to conceive their first child, others may be having difficulties having subsequent children. Some have started trying relatively recently while others may have already explored other options.
A 2018 HFEA report said acupuncture is used in over a quarter of all IVF cycles. Used predominantly to increase success rates, acupuncture can be useful to promote relaxation and relieve stress, both of which can be beneficial when going through treatments like IVF.

- You will have a consultation to discuss your main complaints and review your health history.
- The initial consultation includes questions, taking pulses, observing your tongue, and if relevant to the diagnosis the palpation of specific channels and points.
- Also, I will discuss a course of treatment, what to expect, and I will answer to any questions you might have.
