About Finchley Acupuncture
Born and raised in South-Korea where Chinese Medicine is widely practiced, prior to my career as an acupuncturist I have worked in patient care and nursing for a decade. In 2009 I completed a degree course in acupuncture at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM) in Reading, UK, and have since practiced both Five Element acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.I hold several qualifications in other related disciplines, including Tui-Na (acupressure), ear candling, Indian head massage, natural face-lift massage. As part of treatments I use various other techniques where appropriate, including ear-acupuncture, cupping and moxabustion (heat therapy).
I treat a wide range of conditions and am particularly interested in stress management as it is often found to be the underlying cause of health problems, be that emotional disorders or physical ailments. I focus on preventing the harmful effects of stress, bringing lasting balance to various systems.
