My training, work experience and any achievement
Experience & Background
Born in Dublin, Ravind holds a QQI Level 9 Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from University College Cork.
In order to be granted this formal qualification Ravind spent four years training with Turning Point Institute in Dublin also earning their Diploma in Integrative Clinical Psychotherapy recognized by the IACP, IAHIP & EAP accrediting bodies as a fully accredited training for the practice of Psychotherapy.
Ravind works using an Integrative model with a strong Person Centered & Psychodynamic foundation.
Where appropriate he can use solution focused and cognitive models specifically for short term counselling & work related issues.
Ravind attends regular clinical supervision and continues to develop his skills with CPD trainings, having recently completed courses in suicide intervention (ASIST) & working with survivors of domestic abuse.
Ravind has spent the past three years supporting community counselling services such as the Loreto Centre in Crumlin Dublin 12 and also the Oasis Centre in North Inner City Dublin.
Prior to Psychotherapy
Before Ravind completed his psychotherapy training, he had a thirteen year career in the corporate sector having received a Bachelors Degree in Business from Trinity College Dublin.
Experiences during his years in employment representing large corporations inspired an interest in the area of counselling and mental health. This led him to complete a foundation certificate in counselling with PCI college prior to starting a full four year training.
Additionally, Ravind has 6 years of experience volunteering with vulnerable people of all age groups The bulk of this has been in youth advocacy for Foróige but more recently he has been involved advocating for vulnerable people affected by the housing crisis.

A fee will be agreed on an individual basis based on client’s ability to pay. This will be explored at the initial consultation. Sessions range from €50-70 in the majority of cases
