About Suzanne Lloyd Counselling

I am a fully qualified and accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist who works with adults and couples (married, cohabiting), to help bring about change, using an integrative approach. I am very open, warm and down to earth and always work at my clients' pace, while creating a safe and supportive place for them to talk about their anxieties, stresses or worries without fear of judgement. My aim as a counsellor is to support clients as they gain insight and understanding into their life challenges and difficulties, help to bring clarity and focus, while also supporting them as they make changes. The difference between counselling and psychotherapy is that counselling focuses on the present problem(s) and tends to be short-term, while psychotherapy involves longer-term work as it helps you to explore belief systems and the development of patterns that relate to your past that are still continuing to affect you today.
