About My coach, Joe
Thanks for checking out my profile. I am a Relational Dynamic Coach with a commitment to clean, non directive coaching. I work mainly with members of the LGBT community and creative professionals. If you don’t regard yourself as being either of these, please don’t be put off. I’m happy to receive enquiries from everyone.
I work over the phone, Skype or face to face. You can also engage in a free coaching process through my twitter account @MycoachJoe or my Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/mycoachjoestanderline
My approach is respectful and friendly. I will challenge you and I might ask some difficult questions but I won’t ever judge, patronise or tell you ‘what’s best’. I provide the space for you to achieve real and sustainable progress.
What you get
Motivation / Positive change / Clarity / Insight / Purpose / Achievement / Confidence
With a combination of open questions, Clean Language & Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques, we can work together to achieve your goals. With me, it’s all about you. You are given a space in which to truly listen to what you are saying and to do something real and positive about it.
My training, work experience and any achievement
Certificate in Coaching from Relational Dynamics 1st and Performance Coach Training Ltd in association with NAWE and the ARVON Foundation.
PGCE Lifelong Learning, Huddersfield University.
Trained with Penny Tompkins and James Lawley at ’Clean Language - Live’ with the Association for Coaching.
Currently training with NLP Centre for Excellence LTD. On their NLP Practitioners Course as part of my continuing professional development.
I started my working life as a clown performing to some of the toughest crowds imaginable. After hanging up my extra large shoes, I spent a good number of years touring as a character actor, musical theatre performer and comedian. When the time came to wear glasses and obsess about getting grey chest hair, I decided to become a teacher. Before too long I was heading up the acting department of a leading performing arts college and discovering that I was quite good at motivating, inspiring and nurturing the brilliant young artists that called me, ‘Sir’. I’ve never got used to the ‘Sir’ bit but have acquired a passion for helping people move forward with their lives, whether that be personal or professional, so here I am.
