About Doctor Posture
Roger Golten – Doctor Posture – is one of the leading exponents of Hellerwork Structural Integration, the most powerful system of deep tissue massage therapy, and a pioneer of the technique in the U.K. and Europe. Roger trained with founder Joseph Heller in 1983. He has a client list that includes musicians, business people, actors and politicians as well as many other folk from all walks of life. Roger estimates that since he started practicing Hellerwork massage therapy in London in 1983, he has treated over 3000 people and completed more than 30,000 hours of treatments.
Doctor Posture is committed to making a more or less permanent difference with his client’s posture. Nothing lasts forever, but through the unique combination of the educational and movement elements with the powerful bodywork method, change is accelerated and outstanding results achieved which last not hours or days or even months, but years!
If you are irritated by regular or even so-called "deep tissue" massage, then Hellerwork with Doctor Posture could be for you! Roger works slowly on a low, wide table using his knuckles, elbow & forearms – it’s really nothing like a massage!

Hellerwork is a short, intensive, and systematic course of one-to-one treatment that transforms your relationship with your body and your experience of being alive.
The treatment is educational as well as therapeutic because it combines the deep connective tissue bodywork with coaching on how to sit, stand, walk and breathe with more effortless ease, and it relates and integrates the body and the mind, so you get the keys back to your vehicle!
Many people experience their bodies as a collection of parts and symptoms. Hellerwork gives you the wonderful experience of being all joined up again. Wheels tracked and balanced, SatNav & power steering on!
If you find regular or even so called "deep tissue" massage irritatingly superficial then I am your man!! In 2017 I will be celebrating 34 years of continuous full-time practice in Central London. You can benefit from this and experience the finest deep tissue massage in London by booking a session with me. You will then find out why so many people have endorsed my work (see endorsements) and written about me (see articles).
