About Opening Doors Counselling service
Hello, my name is katy and I am a friendly qualified person centred counsellor with many years’ experience working within Health and Social care. I have a particular interest in the area of Health, Disability and loss, although I often work with clients experiencing many other difficulties such as Anxiety, Stress and Relationship Difficulties.
I work from a person centred base but also incorporate other methods such as CBT and solution focused therapy depending on the needs of the person I am working with and their personality and aims
I currently work in my own Private Practice from Dam House in Astley ,Worsley and from Trafalar House in Chorlton.
I also provide home counselling for people who are disabled, socially isolated or just prefer to receive counselling in their own home. To do this we will need an environment that is suitable for counselling. This is something that we can discuss before the initial meeting.
