About Warecounselling

I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, working from my home location. I have worked for many years in short, medium and long term therapy, offering those services to individuals, couples, large organisations, colleges.

I offer a completely individual service to each person I see tailored to their particular needs, and issues. I cover all areas of therapy. Also providing a spiritual element if that is desired.

I work with individuals, couples and families. My hope is for people to be set free from their present issue and to offer hope and freedom for the future.

I have been working some 15 years from home, which enables a relaxed environment for all.

My training, work experience and any achievement

Certificate of Counselling and Psychotherapy, London, Certificate in Christian Counselling, London School of Theology/CWR. Deep Release Trained Therapist (ACC) Trained in Healing and Loss, and Intergrative Therapy and Loss/Attachment. Trained in Healing Prayer Counselling.

My Deep Release training covers many new areas of therapy, especially the early years where sometimes the deep answers lie.

Further Information

As a therapist that covers all areas of therapy I am able to be versatile in working together with people, which is a delight to help find freedom for that person, enabling them to live life choosing what they wish to do rather that being burdened by what they think they should do.

I offer telephone counselling

Customer Reviews

Louise, Ware, July 21 2013

Sue is a truly insightful, supportive and empathetic counsellor. My husband and I have been receiving joint and separate counselling from Sue over a period of 18 months and the support we’ve received has been invaluable. I had received counselling on two previous occasions, which had been of some benefit, but they were something of a short term fix and I stopped going because I felt they couldn’t move me any further forward. Sue has really helped me to get to the root cause of issues and behaviours and make long-lasting positive changes.

John, Hertford, July 19 2013

I have seen Sue many times, over the course of a number of years, in both individual and couple capacities. Often not really knowing what I intend to discuss with her, something always reveals itself and there is always a gem to take away with me; more than enough to keep me going until the next session. Nothing shocks Sue and everything is handled with the utmost sensitivity. She is a person in whose hands you can feel very safe - safe enough to pour out your soul and receive the abundant healing that she offers. She has a private room, separate from the rest of the house, where you are free to be totally yourself. She will patiently listen whilst you attempt to explain yourself and then, in just a few simple words, reveal the truth to you. The sessions are absoloutely practical and, coupled with Sue’s extensive knowledge and experience, doors will open for you that you were convinced had been closed for ever.
