About Debby Luffman
I offer integrative counselling, psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), relationship therapy and supervision. I am an accredited member of the UKCP, a member of the Universities Psychotherapy and Counselling Association (UPCA) and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). I currently work in private practice as a counsellor and a counselling supervisor .My training background is integrative, which includes psychoanalytical therapy, person-centred therapy, existential therapy and inner-child work. I also trained as a cognitive behavioural therapist (CBT) and in cognitive analytic therapy. However as no single therapeutic approach is appropriate for all clients, I adapt my therapy according to the client’s emotional needs and their situation. The therapy I offer can either be short-term or long-term. I see private clients on Monday to Friday. Specific appointments can be arranged for some evenings. Additionally, Saturday appointments are available.

Could Counselling and Psychotherapy Help Me?
Most people go through times in their lives that are painful and distressing, or when they have difficult decisions to make. Sometimes memories from the past present anxiety about the future which can make it difficult to cope with everyday life. Maybe you are repeating the same patterns of behaviour and thoughts. I am a fully trained and experienced counsellor, psychotherapist and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT), who will hear what you say and understand how you feel, without judging you.
Counselling, psychotherapy and CBT can help you understand the process in which you may have become stuck in, helping you understand how your current behaviour, anxiety or depression could be linked to past experiences.
The sessions provide a therapeutic space to explore these past experiences and emotions, making sense of your anxiety, addictions, depression, bereavement, anger, self-harm, abuse and difficulties. This understanding can enable you to become connected to your inner resources promoting personal growth, healing and direction in life with the help of your counsellor.
