About Nigel Smaller
As we proceed through life we sometimes find ourselves at crossroads - relationships, jobs, health and family problems can challenge our sense of self and what we consider meaningful in life. This can result in confusion, anxiety, feeling stuck, sadness, anxiety, depression, and a raft of other unwanted thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
As a therapist, I offer my clients a safe, non-judgemental space in which to heal and grow. My clients often report that the journey has taken them to a place far better than they were before the reason that brought them to therapy to start with. In this way, clients, don’t just start to feel better, but are often much better equipped to deal with future issues and start to live their lives more meaningfully. Together we can explore your situation and discover new ways of relating and adapting to an unpredictable world - developing confidence in the face of uncertainty and perhaps even learn to embrace challenges like never before.
My work is a mixture of therapy, coaching and philosophy integrated with compassion and support. The Gestalt and Existential Models that I have trained in have some common ground with eastern philosophical thinking although acknowledge the challenges and contradictions of living in a western culture. Feel free to call me and find out more for yourself. I’d be happy to speak with you and answer any questions you may have.
