About Sue Goode

When you are ready to help yourself, I am here to work with you on taking those important and difficult first steps towards your desired outcome. We can do this together whether its a behavioral change you are looking to work on or processing loss or just trying to figure yourself out.
I work intuitively often quite pacey and deep really helping you access and develop your authentic self, rather than living with an adaptive version that’s often making you feel miserable and unfulfilled.

I have a humanistic and holistic approach, and acknowledge the importance of the whole person - mind, emotions, body and spirit. I integrate and combine different theories and models which I aim to tailor to best suit you and your needs.
I am an experienced, qualified and Accredited counsellor with a Diploma in Integrative Counselling. I am registered with British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and UKRCP. I am also qualified supervisor with a dip in Integrative supervision for counsellors and those in helping professions.

I work as an affiliate with many employee assistance programmes and am experienced at short term solution focused work and longer term counselling and psychotherapy for more long standing or deeper issues.
I practice form EC2M E3 and E18

My training, work experience and any achievement

Diploma in Integrative Counselling and I am Accredited by British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Diploma in Integrative supervision for counsellors sand those in helping professions.

My working experience includes Education, both adults and children and Family work including supporting and teaching parenting skills.

I am experienced in expression and stress management via creativity and have had my work published. My approach is integrative, combining different theories and models. I aim to tailor these to suit you and your needs.

Further Information

My integrative approach combines these ideas:

*Everyone is in a state of change and development
*Most people live their lives in a framework of relationships
*Everyone has a past and what we do in the present has been shaped by what has occurred previously
*The success of any therapeutic work is dependent on a safe, confidential and respectful setting

Counselling often helps you gain a better understanding of your past and present conflicts, to recognise, appreciate and use your own resources and consider possibilities for dealing with difficult situations. This may involve clarifying choices and opportunities for bringing about change; or alternatively may help you come to terms with those aspects of your life that you are unable or do not wish to change.

Counselling is about working together in an honest, non-judgemental and supportive relationship.
