About Rita Wanyana
If you feel that you need to talk to someone and are findig it difficult to speak to your friends and family about what you are going through, please get in touch.
I believe that when we get into counselling, we are investing in our emotional and psychological well being. Sometimes we need a space to make sense of and clarify things that may be going on in our lives to attain a clearer vision of where we are with it. Having the right person assist you do this is important, someone who is going to provide you with a non judgmental and understanding environment to open up and express yourself in your own words.
Other times, we might go through some difficult situations that require us to make difficult decisions and we need someone to support us through these times, not necessarily to help us make the decisions, but to provide us with a listening ear and understanding that will walk us through regardless of what decision we might come out with.
My role would be to help you express what is on your mind so that you can hopefully begin to see things more clearly. There is no problem too small or too big to talk about, if you feel something is bothering you and you need someone to help you through it, please call.
I have experience of working with a wide variety of people on an individual or one to one basis, but also in a group setting.
Counselling sessions can be long or short term, depending on what one needs. This can be discussed by both you and myself. The sessions are usually done on a weekly basis for 50 minutes, but in cases of a crisis, this can be discussed to have more in a week.
I rent beautiful consultation rooms in Swiss cottage, ten minutes walk from Finchely underground station.
