My training, work experience and any achievement
I am a qualified, experienced therapist with several years experience in the NHS and in private practice. My initial training was in the Person Centred Approach and I have since done additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and other approaches. I am also qualified as a counselling supervisor.
I work with all aspects of therapy, including:
* relationship issues / couples counselling
* anxiety and depression
* family issues
* affairs and betrayals / separation and divorce
* panic disorder and generalised anxiety disorder
* anger management
* low self-esteem / self-confidence
* eating disorders
* physical, emotional and sexual abuse
* sex and sexual issues
We all have difficulties in life and sometimes it can help to talk about them with an competent professional. My own journey has been difficult at times and I found counselling very helpful, which is what led to my training as a counsellor and fuels my passion for personal development and growth.
