My name is Sarah Graham, MSc BSc BA (Hons) RGN AdvDip UKCP Registered and I work as a psychotherapist based in the town centre of Belper. I hope you find this site useful. Please read through and contact me if you would like further information or if you would like to book an appointment with me.
I provide Counselling and Psychotherapy from my practice based in Belper Town Centre.
I work with people on either a long or short term basis, depending on what is needed.
During the initial appointment we can talk about what type of support you might require and also what you hope to achieve by coming for counselling sessions.

My practice is based in a picturesque setting in Belper town area and there is free parking available across the road from my practice.

My training, work experience and any achievement
I trained at the Sherwood Institute in Nottingham where I gained a Masters degree (MSc) in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am accredited with the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy). In addition to private practice I have worked in various voluntary organisations for a number of years. I am trained as a Registered General Nurse and previously worked in this profession for over 13 years.

I continue to develop my knowledge and skills by undertaking regular continuing professional development through training and supervision which is required as part of my practice. I am an accredited member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and adhere to its strict code of ethics and professional practice, and to that provided by the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute (SPTI).
I completed my Masters training, which was a 4 year course, in July 2013
In addition to private practice I have experience of working in voluntary settings for over 3 years.
I am trained as a registered general nurse and previously I worked in this profession for over 13 years.
I am trained as a Sleep practitioner
I am fully insured and also have enhanced CRB clearance.
I attend regular monthly supervision to ensure best practice.
