Bolt trains 6 days a week. His workout regimen includes plyometric and flexibility training, running, weightlifting, and balance training. He performs flexibility workout to prevent potential injuries and make sure he can run for the entire season. Bolt gives high importance to keeping his muscles strong by spending one hour every day in the weight room. His workouts help him maintain muscular endurance and strength.
Bolt eats 6 times a day. His diet contains 30% of carbohydrates, 60% of protein, and 10% of fat. He loves eating chicken fillet, fish, and pork. Wondering if he’s taking super-power supplements? Well, he takes nothing but vitamin C, as natural and simple as that.
Michael Johnson Workout Routine and Diet
Michael Johnson is a four-time gold medallist and eight-time World Champion sprinter. Even if he’s retired, he still makes sure to keep healthy and strong. This famous Olympian Champ gives high regard to a balanced diet. ‘I limit how often I eat non-healthy foods, but after eating not so healthy foods, I will balance that with healthy ones.’ He said on his interviewed with Men’s Fitness.
Johnson also recommends drinking more water. But if you don’t like plain water (like he does), try sparking water. He enjoys doing recreational activities such as mountain biking where he can exercise and at the same time, enjoy. Johnson encourages people to utilize the technology to track their physical progress, for example download some health apps on your smart phone to track your steps and calories burned throughout the day, etc.
