About Margaret Houghton
I help my clients with very varied problems. I have the experience to make a real difference in peoples lives, helping my clients to become the person they want to be.One of the most common problems is weight loss. I am a certified weight loss coach and Licensed HypnoBand practitioner. I look at the clients behaviour with regards to eating and use a combination of hypnotherapy & NLP so the client loses weight and keeps it off - no more yo-yoing! The virtual gastric band has become very popular in recent years and is proving very successful as an aid to losing weight.
I also see a lot of clients for smoking- hypnotherapy is wonderful for helping quit smoking.
Other common problems are anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, sress, tinnitus, IBS. confidence, nerves, interviews.
I teach Hypnobirthing classes - a beautiful, relaxed and empowering way for Mum to give birth.

Before qualifying as a hypnotherapist I worked for many years as a Driving Instructor, on many occasions I used positive visualizations and calming, relaxing hypnotic techniques with my clients in order to help them overcome test and driving nerves. I found this very successful, leading to an extremely high pass rate. This success led me to study hypnotherapy and alternative therapies. I have now been practising hypnotherapy and NLP since 2005.I find the techniques I use very successful.
