My name is Richard Scott Dip.Hyp, Adv.Dip.CH/Psy and I am a fully qualified and insured clinical hypnotherapist and psychotherapist. I am also registered with the NHS, plus the ICHM and PHPA (professional UK complementary therapy/hypnotherapy bodies).
I am office based but also do home visits, regularly holding sessions in Hull and Scunthorpe as well as Leeds, York, Sheffield, Lincoln and surrounds. I also cater for staff/students at the University of Hull - as my main office is based on the Hull campus.
I provide hypnotherapy services to the general public, a Scunthorpe charity, The University of Hull and a clinic in Hull and I accept NHS GP referrals.
Providing hypnotherapy services for adults and children alike - I specialise in stress, anxiety, weight and pain management, releasing fears and phobias plus addictions (e.g. cigarette and habitual drugs). I have a proven track record in facilitating the release of a variety of psychosomatic issues.

I hold diplomas in Hypnotherapy and Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy from the School of Natural Health Sciences in London.
As a member of the Professional Hypnotherapy Practitioner Association and the International College of Holistic Medicine, I am bound by a strict code of ethics. I am recently registered with the NHS Trust Association, and am listed in the NHS Directory for Complementary and Alternative Practitioners.
Achievements, to me, are when my clients tell me they no longer need therapy and that the symtoms that were present upon commencing therapy are no longer there. From phobias which have lasted over 50 years - gone in a single session, to chronic medical conditions of over 30 years - removed after 3 sessions, I have helped release symptoms from all ages and all walks of life and I value every one of them as achievements, no matter how big or small the symptom is.
