About Therapysage: I practice in Chesterfield and Sheffield. I see adult clients who want help with the concerns and issues listed below. I can usually see people within a week. Just get in touch by phone or email to ask me more or make an appointment.

I trained first as a counsellor and bring counselling skills and a belief in the importance of genuine empathy and respect to my work as a hypnotherapist.

I believe that all of us have within us the means to help ourselves, grow and live life more fully. Unfortunately most of us get hurt and confused and lose the sense of direction which tells us which is the right way for us. Just as there are many ways to become troubled and unhappy so there are many therapeutic methods. I can offer a range of approaches to suit each individual client, whether you need a quick and easy tool to help you change an unwanted habit or longer term help to address deeper issues.

These include hypnotherapy, counselling, life-coaching, supportive coaching and personal development or combinations of these forms of help. Although some clients know what they want when they contact me, many are not sure. That’s fine. We can work it out.

My training, work experience and any achievement: I have a degree in psychology (University of Leicester)and diplomas in counselling (Sheffield Hallam University)and hypnotherapy (National Council of Hypnotherapy)
I am a member of the National Council of Hypnotherapy and am part of the Independent Practitioners Network. I belong to a full member group who meet monthly for peer supervision. I also have separate supervision for counselling and hypnotherapy. My insurance is provided by Towergate.
I have been a therapist for 12 years and I have worked in the NHS, the voluntary sector and am now in private practice. I am also a trainer and group facilitator.
