I will help you to understand why you feel the way you do and give you the space to find your own way forward. I work in this way with young people, individuals and couples.
I will listen in a non - directive, non-judgmental way understanding your world from your point of view. This should enable you to relate to others and yourself in a more satisfying way.
The starting point is to build a collaborative and trusting relationship between us which should then allow you to acknowledge and talk about your feelings, however difficult or uncomfortable they are. Working in a supportive way, emotions from the past and present will be allowed to surface and aspects of yourself which may have become hidden move into your consciousness.
I am accredited with the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and registered with UKRC (United Kingdom Register of Counsellors)

I practice from my home close to Tewkesbury,situated between Cheltenham and Gloucester and easily accessible from Ledbury, Malvern and Worcester.

My training, work experience and any achievement
I graduated from the University of Warwick with a Diploma in Person Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy.
In addition to my private practice I currently work in a local school and a child orientated charity. I also work within an EAP where my work is predominately solution focused.
I have experience with a drug and
alcohol agency, referrals of adults from gp’s surgeries as well as telephone and online counselling.
