About Balance Counselling

Balance Counselling is a private counselling practice specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for individuals, couples and organisations.

My practice is minutes from Belfast City Centre and my mission is to become a centre of excellence in providing professional, confidential CBT to all communities in Belfast and the surrounding areas.

I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within their ethical framework. I offer a professional confidential service in discreet comfortable surroundings.

I provide CBT counselling for a variety of personal and interpersonal difficulties including the following:

Depression
Anxiety
Low Self Esteem
Grief
Anger
Relationship difficulties
Panic Attacks
Phobias
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Stress
Social Anxiety
Work related difficulties
Family problems
Trauma
Childhood Abuse
Eating Disorders
If you are affected by any of the above or are distressed by anything that is not mentioned above please contact me for a free intial assessment session. This session lasts 90 minutes (normally sessions lasts 60 minutes) and is an assessment of your current difficulties. It is also an opportunity for you to find out more about CBT and myself as a therapist before making any financial commitment. As counselling is very personal to each individual it is important that you ensure that you feel comfortable with the therapy and therapist from the outset.

I also offer supervision to qualified therapists / trainee therapists. If interested please contact me.

If you have any questions on any of the material that is covered in this site or require further information please do not hesitate to contact me on 07846136506 or email francine@balancecounselling.co.uk As I am with clients most of the day it may be difficult to reach me by phone but please leave a message and I will contact you at my earliest convenience.
