I’m a highly qualified, very experienced therapist with a national reputation who uses Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, Counselling, CBT, NLP, TFT etc. to personalise your therapy and help you to achieve your required goal or target. I believe that almost everyone can be helped to live a happier and more enjoyable life and treat all my clients with respect,dignity and compassion. I don’t believe in long, drawn out therapy programs and find that my ability and experience in using my many therapy skills provide a fast, effective, solution focused result in the majority of my clients.
As a full time Consultant and Lecturer in Clinical Hypnosis & Psychotherapy, I have over 15 years experience in training others to become Hypnotherapists & Psychotherapists, as well as completing in excess of 10,000 client sessions. Whatever your problem, I’ve almost certainly worked with it and achieved a very high degree of success for the vast majority of my clients.

I initially trained in Counselling and Clinical Hypnosis in the 1990’s and have since added Psychotherapy, Inner Child Therapy, Thought Field Therapy (TFT), NLP, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Integral Eye Movement Therapy, Coaching and Stress Management to my list of ’tools’ for my therapeutic toolbox!
I spent 3 years as a consultant, working for MIND, the national mental health charity from 2001-2004 as a consultant at Hartlepool on their Complimentary Therapy program and treated people with every conceivable psychological and emotional issue, with a very high degree of success. At that time, there were very few Clinical Hypnotherapists working with Mental Health issues and I found it a very valuable and rewarding experience.
The Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy awarded me one of their very first Fellowships, for this work and my services to Hypnotherapy. The National Hypnotherapy Society also awarded me a Fellowship for my work in in the field of Hypnotherapy and Hypnotherapy Training.
As well as working as full time Hypnotherapy Practitioner, I set up my own training organisation in 1999 to teach the general public and the medical and caring professions to become competent practitioners of Clinical Hypnosis and Psychotherapy. I have personally trained over 400 people to become Hypnotherapists over the past 12 years and continue to do so on a monthly basis.
