- About Move2Balance
-
Marina is an Educational Kinesiologist, Brain Gym® and Integrated Touch Balance instructor and practitioner. She is currently finishing a Master in Counseling and Psychotherapy. Her aim is to empower each person and help him/her to be able to use more of his abilities and potentials towards whatever he would like to achieve, in his professional career, personal/emotional life, sport skills, learning abilities etc. As we known now, the brain can change itself till we die! Thanks to what is called neuroplasticity we can learn to build new neuropathways that will support what we want to achieve and more deeply, support us in our journey to become the best of ourselves. We can change old habits, choose other beliefs that serve us better, release negative emotions or physical imbalances and so feel less pain, stress or anxiety and strenghten our immune response. To facilitate the process Marina uses her psychotherapist skills as well as a lot of different modalities ; brain gym exercices, ITb (a very powerful and effective acupressure modality), symbolic journey, massage, muscle reeducation, movements, primitive reflexes integration, sounds of tibetans bowls, etc. The tools and procedures used enable and support changes and transformations in a very gentle yet very effective way!
Move2Balance is a private practice in Sydney that offers individual sessions for anyone looking for support in their journey to wellbeing.
Educational Kinesiology (Edu-K), Brain Gym® and Integrated Touch Balance (ITb) are all methods effective to illicit change and integrate them in a holistic way : body, emotions and mind. They are used to empower the individual, by providing them with an opportunity to have a crucial role in their own learning and healing process, rather than depending upon others to "fix" them. They work also very well with children.
To further emphasise this focus on self-healing and self-empowerment, Move2Balance is also dedicated to teaching some of these techniques. Courses are given both in English and in French in Australia and in French-speaking countries.
Marina started her professional journey in Law, She migrated to Australia from Switzerland in 1996.When the youngest of her four children started school, she discovered Brain Gym, Edu-K and Integrated Touch Balance (ITb).
Amazed by the profound impact these tools have had on her own personal journey, and seduced by the endless potential of healing, learning and growth they offer, Marina decided to change her professional orientation and become a therapist.
